Hotels

The Coppid Beech

John Nike Way, Binfield, Bracknell RG12 8TF, UK – 01344 303333

Stayed with my family, there are 5 of us. The hotel was simply brilliant. Room was massive and very comfortable. Breakfast was really nice with plenty of choice. Decor is a little dated but it really doesn't matter. Would definitely stay here again

Nice ish staff, reasonable hotel overall, really needs redecorating though. Breakfast was very good, great choice, no fried egg option but all you had to do was ask and they made you one. Little upset on our last night though as there was very load occupants roaming the hall late at night, if you come across this make sure you ring down to reception and they will sort it. Rooms were clean and the beds were kinda comfy.

Stirrups Country House Hotel

Maiden's Green, Bracknell RG42 6LD, UK – 01344 882284

We had our wedding here only last week (28.07.17). The staff were amazing from the moment we enquired 2 years ago, right through to the end of our day. They paid attention to every detail, our Wedding Breakfast was amazing, as was the evening buffet. Jody, Dimi, Louise and all the other staff involved in our day, carried out all their tasks, without any interruptions to ourselves, our family & friends. All of our guests said how friendly and professional the staff were. Everyone that stayed overnight, had also said that their rooms were lovely and we all enjoyed the breakfast, the following morning. Overall, it was the perfect venue to hold our wedding and we both highly recommend visiting The Stirrups, to consider holding your wedding day or another function here. Thank you again team, you were amazing! Conway & Laura Saunders

Grange Bracknell Hotel

Charles Square, Bracknell RG12 1DF, UK – 01344 474000

The decor and furnishings are very good and there is plenty of inside and outside seating area to relax with a drink. The evening meal was good and a fair price. The breakfast was very good, an excellent variety of food including full English breakfast, toasts and pastries, cereals, fruit and yogurts and the usual drinks. The room was very clean and spacious and had a bath and shower. The only negatives I have is there is no parking but there is a car park opposite and the hotel did validate the ticket so it was free. The other negative was the service of the bar staff appeared that they didn't have a clue what they were doing . The front of house staff were excellent. and they didn't have straws in the bar area so any kids that had drinks struggled if they were young. Overall though it was a pleasant stay 😀

The room was clean and very well appointed. We had a family room with a fold up cot, for the little one. I am very glad that we bought our own though as I would not have trusted a baby in the cot provided. Otherwise the room was great with a good shower. The staff cleaned the room very well and even made up the cot, tucking in my child's toy (a nice touch). The staff were great with regards to the room and reception. Room service was fast, but not cheap. The place was really let down by the restaurant. It was buffet style, but tiny so always waiting on food. the food was pretty dire and we only ate because we were hungry and had paid for it. The staff here were rude and unhelpful. This was true for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great place to stay but not to eat.

Pubs, Gastro Pubs and Bars

The Royal Oak

London Road, Bracknell, Berkshire RG12 2NN, UK – 01344 422622

I have been to this pub several times and I can honestly say, I don't think anywhere else can beat its friendly and warm atmosphere. everyone is your friend in this pub, its like a small family, and the staff are always incredibly helpful and always up for a laugh. pub quiz is super fun and interactive and I'm always exited to go with my friends and family! :)

Staff are friendly and very helpful. The landlord mike is a great bloke Allways happy to help. They work as a great team. Have excellent live bands on a Saturday. . Myself and my partner class it as our local .

The Old Manor

Grenville Place, Bracknell RG12 1BP, UK – 01344 304490

Friendly staff greeted us and got our family a seat together in a nice quiet part of the pub. Food was served fairly quickly and all together which is important as we like to eat together not one after each other which has happened at other Wetherspoons before. The food was hot and as good as it could be for the chain. Will definitely come back for another visit soon.

Cheap and kind-of-cheerful place. Good selection of ales which is real plus point. The food is ok but you can tell it's 'ding-ding' food. However, the Tennessee burger with Onion rings is always very good.

Peacock Farm

Peacock Ln, Binfield, Bracknell RG12 8SS, UK – 01344 423481

Good food at reasonable prices. All dining tables were reserved however there were plenty of tables outside where we could then order at the bar. Food was quick and very good. Would have been nice if the cutlery was brought with the food instead of having to go and get it but wasn't a drama. Staff were friendly, location quite nice albeit next to a new housing site which is being built. Glad we stopped for a bite to eat on our journey

Decent food at reasonable prices and dog friendly which is a real bonus. We were able to just turn up on a Sunday at 4pm and get a table for 4 people without an issue - we saw lots of others turn up later and do the same. We had to order at the bar which was fine. It's a Hall & Woodhouse Pub and has a reasonable range of food including Sunday roasts. The service was good as well. Also a good selection of ales on offer.

Travel Super Market search and compare prices for hotels all over the world. Could also be useful for you. I This said I was told by a hotelier that the way to get cheap rooms is to ring up the week before and ask for the weekend rate. You can usually get an absolute bargain as they will trying to book all the rooms that they have not sold! Could be worth a try!
